I was receiving exactly 0.2kbps from every peer i was connected to. uTorrent was working fine a few days ago, but when downloading a few torrents today, the speed suddenly dropped to a few kbps. Until about 10 minutes in and dropped to 100kb/s and overloaded 100%. ![]() This is a temporary work-around until development comes up with a solution! This is not a solution itself as this has only been tested on one single computer! (Mine!) :cool:Īny problems foreseen using this method though? What would be wrong with letting Windows do everything?ĮDIT: It DID work for me. The short term work-around for me seems to be to turn off the disk caching algorithm completely and let windows handle it. uTorrent's cache algorithm just thinks it is. Ordering a new disk is not a solution: the disk is not the problem: as I have a disk monitor running constantly, I can see that the disk itself is not overloaded at all. For now I have orderer a new HDD faster and eSata instead of USB' date=' but if the disk overload issue is not fixed I'm out of options.
